Welcome to Germany - A magazine packed with ideas for your next holiday or business trip. Issue Winter 2008/2009

"Germany and its Captivating Regions" is the main topic of the winter issue 2008/2009 of "Welcome to Germany". 11 articles give an insight into the most popular and most visited tourism regions with enchanting natural attractions which also offer numerous sights and a host of opportunities for winding down. On Germany's northern and Baltic coastlines, in the idyllic lake districts of Mecklenburg and Brandenburg, in romantic uplands and river valleys, against the dramatic backdrop of the Alps -everywhere enchanting landscapes beckon with extensive hiking and cycle trails, outstanding water sports areas for boat tours and a dense network of pistes and cross-country trails for winter sports fans.

Moreover, many of these regions are linked via fascinating holiday routes. The new issue of "Welcome to Germany" will feature articles on the German Volcano Route in the Eifel region and the Sisi Route with its fairytale castles in Bavaria.
